Day 18 of #BLOGMAS :: 10 Christmas Movies To Watch

It's day seventeen -- whaaaaaat!? We're so close! Christmas is literally creeping around the corner and there is still so much to do. I'm so behind on my Christmas shopping this year and that's typically not like me. At least I haven't slacked on my #blogmas posts, right?

This year, I don't have cable, so I haven't been able to binge watch those 25 days until Christmas movies on FREEFORM or those cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies like I typically do. Instead, I've opted to watch movies that are both from my childhood and some other newish ones that I've never seen before. I thought I'd share 10 movies that made the list this year!

Home Alone Movies -- 1, 2 & 3 :: These movies are classics! No matter how old you are or how many times you've seen these movies, there is something about them that doesn't get old. I feel like you have to watch these movies at least once every Christmas season.

ELF and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas :: were movies that I haven't watched fully up until this year. I'm glad that I finally did though because they were absolutely adorable. I'll be watching them again next year too because they're perfect films for children and adults.

The Polar Express :: I actually saw this one in theaters when it first came out and it was auh-mazing on the big screen. Every time I watch it at home (which happens to be every single year) I always end up thinking it's better on the big screen. However, the graphics are still wonderful and I love it all the same.

Disney's A Christmas Carol ::  I always watch once version of the Christmas Carol every year because it's a classic tale by Charles Dickens and I love seeing different renditions of it. Every interpretation brings new life to the story and I really love that. With that being said, this year it was Disney's version that caught my attention. I hadn't watched this movie until this year and I felt like it was.. guy, I haven't watched this yet. I've been swamped with life, but I have time. I'll update this section right after I watch it -- I promise.

Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas, Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas & Mickey's Magical Christmas :: so bear with me, I'm a mom and because of that fact alone these movies are a must in my home. I mean, come on, it's Disney. With that being said, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy them too. They remind me of my childhood and that's enough of a reason for them to make the list. They're played throughout the holiday season in my home because my baby loves them and they're just too cute to only watch once.

Just so we're clear, these aren't the only Christmas movies I've watched this year, and they're definitely not the last once I'm watching either. I've watched some cheesy one's on Netflix and Amazon Prime, so I'm getting my fair share of those too. The movies that made the list are ones that I find myself watching with my family time and time again.

What are your must watch Christmas movies?

I love all of those movies. The Home Alone series really bring back the memories - I remember going to the movies for Home Alone 3.
Great movie choices on here :)
